Just a little set back with my website....

OK- I have been working on a problem since Saturday, that is last Saturday! I for some reason can not access my website admin/login page to get in and change things around on my website. I have been wanting to run a summer clearance sale at my store, but because I can not get to anything it makes running business a little difficult. I have everyone working on it! Hopefully this does not continue for too much longer. So, for now I have listed my sale items on my http://www.BGBJewelry.Etsy.com. Just click on the picture above and it will take you there! Check it out, like I said you will not find these items on sale on my website. Be sure to read the details and email me with any questions. It's a great opportunity to start your Christmas shopping! All the items are from my website. Each piece was designed and created with quality materials!

Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy your weekend!

Introducing the OCRF Fundraiser Bracelet

Well I'm pretty proud of the bracelet. I still have some finishing touches to do, like write out a description figure out the cost, fix the other pictures that will go along with the page on my web site, and send it over to SheFinds.com.
Let me know what you think- leave a comment or two!

It's been a long couple of weeks...

Here is my new avatar for http://www.etsy.com/, an artist community where you can find, sell, and buy items made by artists. Stop by and check it out, you never know what you might find!

Why is it that when you return from a week long vacation it takes you two weeks to get back into the swing of things? I feel like I have so much to do and catch up on!

I'm trying to teach myself new things; Adobe Photo shop- I thought it might be a good program to learn to use in scrap booking and enhancing my jewelry pictures for my web page. I can see now it will be awhile until I am completely comfortable with it. I bought some digital picture frames off a website called http://www.twopeasinabucket.com/, a very cute site and they have some great items. I think I should have read up on the whole down load thing first before purchasing the frames. They look really cool but yet I'm still not quite sure how to use them.

Still really hot down here, but the crazy thing is, I actually feel like I am getting use to it. I can tell the rest of the family is getting a little stir crazy! Haven't quite figured out what I am planning on doing tomorrow, but tonight I need to finish adding some new products to my website and make a bracelet for a fundraiser coming up in September. I will have more details on the event as they come available. It will be for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation who are partnering up with Shefinds.com for the month of September to raise money. Part of the purchase of my bracelet will be donated. I need to sit down tonight and design the bracelet.

I was doing some crazy all night scrap booking the other night. I had so much fun...I think my husband thinks I'm crazy. But, I honestly thinking I am developing an actual style to my pages. I feel bad I still need to start some pages for my daughters baby book. I should sit down and jot some notes down while they are still fresh in my memory!

A very busy week ahead...lots planned all week. So, need to head out. Hope everyone has a great week and has a chance to stop by my site to check out the new merchandise!

Oh, and one more thing, don't forget to check out some of the great links on the right hand side. Support those Sahms and Wahms!!!

I was on TV!!!

OK, very exciting news! I was on a local TV show called Sonoran Living Live! It is a very cool show, and I had a great time. I was very nervous, but the hostess Stephanie made me feel right at home. I definitely will not be going into TV for a living, but it was a lot of fun and a great experience.

I was able to show a few pieces from each of my collections.

You can check it out here: SonoranLiving

You will need to use the scroll bar below the video screen, scroll down to 6/14 and go to segment 6, I am after the financial guy.

I've added some great shopping links- these are great top 100 lists with lots of online resources and online shopping boutiques to check out. Most of the boutiques listed are Mommy owned or ran. So, help out the stay at home mom and be sure to look them over.

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. It's really hot outside this weekend! It's suppose to hit 110 today! Ouch!

I'm learning new things all the time...

I am not a computer wizard and I feel like you need a little html background to figure out how to use all these things. Lucky for me there are some very nice people out there who don't mind me asking those 'dumb' questions. I started a top 100 list. I actually figured out how to add pictures with links to them for this blog. I still have a lot to learn. I have so many things I want to add to my website- I just don't want to pay someone every time I want some little thing taken care of.

OK, after that Kudos for myself. Here are a few things happening.
I have a June Special running. Receive a free pair of Swarovski Clear Round Crystal and Sterling Silver Drop Earrings with every purchase from The Beautiful Garden Boutique. No need for a code, I just know to add them to your order.

I am working on my Summer line which will be add by July 1st!

I have added a Baby Addison Collection Top 100 List- so if you have a business that is baby related and would like to add it to the list, just click on the banner on the right hand side.

I will have a new 'Featured- Bride' at the end of this week. She has custom ordered bridesmaids necklaces and earrings. So, stop by The Beautiful Garden Boutique and click on Featured Brides and you can read all about it.

Last night my husband and I had a mini date night. Thanks to my parents. They watched our children so we could sneak away and enjoy a little wine tasting and good music at a local restaurant in downtown Chandler. We visited with some local people and just enjoyed each others company. Amazing how much catching up we were able to do when we did not have two children to talk over and around!

Don't forget Father's Day- my son and I did some fun painting at Mind Over Splatter, a shop in downtown Chandler, where you can paint pottery. We had a lot of fun!

I picked up some new scrapbook supplies on Wednesday and Friday of last week. I am so excited. I got up early this morning to start diggin' in! I can't wait to start putting together my daughter's baby book.

Hope everyone has a great week. I already know mine is packed full!

Not quite sure what is going on...

Well, viewing my blog- none of the pictures are coming through. Maybe it's just a today problem. I've been pretty busy with orders and scrapbooking! And it's really nice when you can put the two together. I recently made a picture book for a store to have on their counter for customers to look over when they want to order a mommy or little girl name bracelet. It turned out really neat! I'm hoping to make a few more.
I've been working on adding my mid summer line. Trying to come up with a new design for the Baby Addison Bracelet card. I'm very excited about the new necklaces I will be adding to the line. But that is about all I can tell you for now! I might just show you a sneak peek one of these days!
I have to go hit the gym tonight and yet I would rather stay in and do some scrapbooking. I picked up some new paper at the store today. Of course I was only going for the ribbon. And walked out with paper and embellishments! Ha, Ha!
I decided to change the look of the gift boxes for my jewelry business. I will have chocolate boxes with a chocolate and light blue striped ribbon. I real love the chocolate color! I don't have the pictures posted yet, but stop by next week and check them out.
Have a great week. I'm headed to make dinner, oh and fold clothes, and, and, and... Yes, I'm a real mom and wife and I run a business from home. Ha, Ha!

New 'Featured Bride' Jewelry

Check these pieces out! Isn't this bracelet and earring set just stunning! I wish I had somewhere to go that I would be 'forced' to wear something as elegant as this! Unfortunately, I just don't think t-shirt and jeans would quite cut it with this one!

I just updated my 'Featured Bride' page on my website. The page is meant to show examples of how a bride can choose just about any piece from the current collections and we can redesign it to be suitable for their wedding style. Even though we might not show a complete set online we can always design the missing necklace, bracelet or earrings. I love to do custom orders! I now have added all these custom orders into my catalog on my website.

To view my 'Featured Bride' page, just click on the link above. If you have any questions about custom orders be sure to email me at beautifulgarden@cox.net

Again, thanks for stopping by!

Have a great Sunday! I know I will- today is my son's birthday!!!
