Custom Picture Frame Charm Necklaces

I thought I would share this special order with you. I love how they turned out. The customer had these made up for a friend of hers. She emailed me the pictures and we cropped them down and then made them black and white, added the initials, and little crystals in the corner.
It's incredible how many options there are for this type of thing. I don't advertise that I make these, but I have made ones for fun for myself with my kids and I added a Swarovski Crystal Heart Charm. I love the idea of adding the crystals with in the charms and having them hang from a sterling silver chain instead of the beaded one that they usually are worn on. She really made this a precious special order.
I hope you will enjoy your weekend. A new month and that much closer to all the holidays. I can't believe it's August already! And we still have one more month of extremely hot weather and monsoon season! -T

Peapod Charm & Crystal Necklaces

Someone had commented on these Charm Necklaces and I wanted to give you an update:

I have two available: *if you would like to order the one in the picture it will take 7-10 days, or if you would like a different color crystal pendant or word charm; please email me at beautifulgarden@cox.net

I haven't been able to add them to my website because I am in the process of taking new pictures.

But, if you are interested in purchasing one please contact me at beautifulgarden@cox.net
  • The price of the necklace is $43.00 and you can decide if you would like First Class or Priority Mail Shipping; shipping is not included. And tax is charged to Arizona Residence.
  • These are in stock and ready to ship, which means they will go out with in a day of receiving full payment.

I hope this helps. Sorry it has taken so long to add them. I have to say I made myself one, and I just love it! It's so hot here it's hard to wear heavy jewelry that is why I love this necklace, it's light weight and the crystal pendant catches the light and gives off so much sparkle! And I can wear it with everything, tanks, tees, and dresses!

Thanks for asking...

A few Oxidized Pieces have been added...

So, I decided to give this whole Oxidizing Process a try...and the end result - I love it! I think it's the neatest thing ever! I really think it takes a piece of jewelry that I would hesitate to wear out during the day and makes it more casual for everyday wear. I love the antique/vintage feel it gives the jewelry. I now feel like I can wear dangle crystal earrings during the day with jeans and a fun t-shirt and it will look great! I will work on a board so everyone can see what I am talking about. If you have a pair of sterling silver earrings and you feel like you are not getting enough wear out of them; I would give the whole oxidizing technique a try. You might just surprise yourself, and start wearing them more often.
I have the new collection in their own category- 2008 Vintage Collection - I've only added a few pieces. I am still working on them.
I've been working on my scrapbook albums. Actually just getting a few pages completed late at night. I got side tracked last night and decided to work on this round box. I'm about half way through it. I will post pictures of it tomorrow. I should have it completed tonight. So far I really like it. I think it really goes with the whole Easter Vintage theme I have going on here in my work space.
Oh, and one more thing. Over at Etsy.com they have this thing called the Treasury. You see it on the home page. Well, Etsy vendors actually sign up and do the collages. So, last night I did one and you can view it here- Spring has Sprung It's a way to promote other Etsy vendors- not for self promotion, except you are kind of promoting yourself- your name is all over it! I just think it is a neat tool- and the Etsy community has more interaction.
Well, I'm going to head up and work on some scrap booking projects.
Thanks for stopping by!

My Little Girl is Growing Up

I can't believe we just bought my daughter her own full size bed! We moved out the changing table and crib, along with all the cute pottery barn bedding- bumper, skirt and matching sheets! I can't believe it! She just won't sleep in her crib at night. So the only solution was to get her a big person bed, which I don't even think she understands that she is in a big person bed. My son on the other hand thinks it's the neatest thing ever! We would have gotten her a twin but she has my antique bedroom set, and I am determined to finish cleaning and painting the bed part and get it up into her room. It's a very shabby chic room. Now all I need to do is get my good friend Kelly to make a beautiful quilt with matching pillow shams. Just one project at time.

So, now I am off to work on the new collections. It's a really nice day I think I might sit outside and work on the computer.

Enjoy your Sunday!

For The Love Of Etsy.com

Have you every had a chance to browse through Etsy.com? I am so captivated by the items that people put up for sale, or just reading about the people- it's like people watching but you don't have to leave your house. If you haven't visited Etsy.com - you need to take a few minutes everyday to see what is new in the world of Etsy! People from all over the world post new items for sale everyday, every minute. There are so many things that Etsy stands for, you really need to visit the website- I couldn't possible sum it up for you. Everyone I meet who makes something, I encourage them to check out Etsy.com. It's such a great 'little' community for all types of artists, working in every type of medium out there!

I love to browse through the different jewelry people. I love to see what other people are creating. I am so amazed at some of the work. It really is incredible.

I wish when I was in college that Etsy was around, or something like it. I think it really would have encourage more artists (or just me) to complete their creations and place them up for sale. Some students could have paid their tuition.

Well, that is my submission for today. I am trying to take advantage of my moment of peace and quiet. My husband took the kids to my son's soccer and then on a walk. I have the back door open and a nice stillness in the area. We have been enjoying the beautiful weather for the past couple of days. The only problem is my allergies are kickin' in!

I hope everyone has a lovely evening!
